On Friday, 27th of September, Intercultural Association Mobility Friends staff members from the EU Projects Department, Joaquín Martín de Saavedra Rojas and José Dias, organized the Multiplier Event for the Erasmus+ KA 2 project: 2017-3-EE01-KA205-046743 · “Entrepreneurship 4 Youth” in Barcelos, Portugal. In order to reach a better impact and visibility for the project itself, everything was planned in cooperation with Conselho Nacional da Juventude (National Youth Council) during its “National Youth Meeting 2019”, where more than 400 Portuguese youngsters from all around the country were present. Using Non-Formal Education methods, Mr. Martín de Saavedra Rojas and Mr. Dias explained to different youth collectives what the Erasmus+ programme and its Key Action 2 are, the main idea of “Entrepreneurship 4 Youth”, the European partnership that made all of this possible and each activity that was developed during the 2 years of implementation: the Kick-Off Meeting in Pärnu, the EU survey, the Intermediate Meeting in Málaga, the e-learning course, the Training Course in Pärnu, the dissemination events around Europe, the Final Meeting in Blagoevgrad, the digital guide and the Multiplier Event.
A special attention was focused on E4Y Digital Guide that provides sufficient knowledge and information based on case studies, best practices and concrete examples from across Europe regarding entrepreneurship, digital technologies and digital entrepreneurship, success stories of entrepreneurs, roles of NGOs in supporting young entrepreneurs and concrete methods and tools of non-formal education. The guide is divided into 4 main chapters, each one developed by practitioners and experts in the field.
In addition, some of the attendees were representing youth sections from institutions like Conselho Nacional da Juventude (National Youth Council), Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Gaia (Vila Nova de Gaia City Hall) or Câmara Municipal de Guimarães (Guimarães City Hall), among others. At the end of the meetings, it was possible to create small spaces of networking for Portuguese youngsters to discover other similar Erasmus+ opportunities offered by Intercultural Association Mobility Friends and its European/international partners.
